Kart Sentinel

We have studied a revolutionary solution to manage the problem of unauthorized pushes between karts. This solution not only solves the problem, but goes further by providing a completely transparent and reliable thrust detection system. Our patented system allows for the precise identification and sanctioning of pilots involved in illegal push actions; eliminating any possibility of dispute, since the survey data provided is objective and in real time.

Weapon against driver contacts

Our system is based on a series of sensors that are applied in contact with the front spoiler. These are able to perceive the number, duration, intensity and direction of the pushes.

Once the permitted limit is exceeded, the system communicates with a control unit located under the number plate spoiler.

Head of the System

In addition to receiving signals of impact, our control unit is capable of associating the number plate with the system and automatically identifying the driver or team using that particular kart.

Fair & Safe decisions

Once the system detects an impact that exceeds the allowed limit in terms of time or force, it automatically transmits an encrypted signal to our control software, which is present in the race control cabin. This allow the race officials to impose penalties automatically or review the circuit cameras, precisely pinpointing the moment of the infraction and evaluating whether or not a penalty should be given. This will lead to faster decisions based on objective data regarding the violation.
